We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Ellards passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time. May you all know the peace of God that passes all understanding....

My deepest condolences to the Clarence Ellard family. I served with Clarence on the Clarke County Board of Education from 1970-76 and valued him as a trusted colleague and friend. Again, my heartfelt sympathy to his family.

We were members at Beech Haven for two non-consecutive years in the '80s. Clarence and Bobbie Ellard were two of our favorite people. We have remained in contact through annual Christmas greetings. We have fond memories of our times with the Ellards. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult days.

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE SIGN MR. ELLARD HAD IN HIS FRONT YARD FOR YEARS. "HONEY FOR SALE". I THROUGHT (WITH A SMILE) THAT IT COULD MEAN HIS WIFE.MAY GOD BLESS AND BE A COMFORT IN YOUR TIME OF SORROW.

Clarence and Bobbie leave wonderful legacies! They truly lived their strong Christian beliefs. We, who knew them, are fortunate and blessed. So sorry that we are out of town and can't be at the funeral. We hurt and rejoice with you.

Hello Barbara and Family,

I just wanted to let you know that my family is praying for you as you “meander” through these difficult days. We pray that God will provide comfort and solace for you all as you deal with the loss of Mr. Ellard. May you be comforted by the many loving memories and times spent with him and your mother.

I know that it will be hard for so many at Beech Haven to see the “empty pew” once occupied for so many years by your parents, but as the...

Clarence and Bobbie were closer friends than family for all of the Goffs for over fifty years. Bobbie was my Den Mother when I was Cub Scout and as a salesman for Red Hat Feeds, Clarence help to develop my interest and lifetime commitment to agriculture. They both were committed to their family, their faith and their churches, and their communities. Fortunately they have passed those enviable traits on to their children.

I am so sorry to hear that Mr. Ellard has passed. I only knew him briefly having met about 3 years ago as he drove down Tara Way. We talked for a while about his wife and family and friends, and we waved in passing. Our thoughts are with you, his loving family.

Barbara,Clark,Wayne and family,
Marie and I share your emotions of joy and loss at this time: loss because of physical separation, and joy because of Clarence's release from pain, and joyful in the knowledge that we carry his inspiration in our lives.

Clarence and Bobbie were great friends and will continue to be in our thoughts.

Clarence and I met in the 1950s when I was in high school in Columbus, GA: he was a salesman who called at our grocery store. As he and...
