My wife and I met Pete at NAIT back in about 1985 while I was a student there.He was a fellow student with me in the Pre-Tech program at the time. My wife and I casually crossed paths with him a few times over the years after that. He seemed to be a very nice person and was always friendly toward us too. We send our condolences.
