Clarence Duck Ginter of Topeka was born November 11, 1944 at Topeka died April 4, 2012. He attended Monterey Union High School, graduating in 1962. Clarence retired from the Shawnee County Department of Corrections. He was a plumber by trade, belonging to Union #696 for over 28 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Paul, who died in 2000 and a sister, Marian M. Tillman who died in 1976. Survivors include two sons, David Leroy Ginter and wife Andrea of Topeka and Jerry Ginter and wife Brenda of St. Mary s; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Following his wishes, cremation is planned. Duck requests that all his friends Have one for him. Family and friends are invited to David's home on Friday, April 6, starting at 3 pm to celebrate Duck's life. Contact 785-215-9477 for more information. I am so sorry to hear about Duck. I met Duck working with him at Shawnee County. He was always a charactor and loved to give me a hard time. He will be missed by many.
