Not sure what to say?

Chaplain Goodwin was a wonderful man who was loved by everyone who knew him. As a chapel manager I worked with him at Misawa Air Base in Japan. He was a delight to work with, and his wife Judy and two daughters were exceptional as well. God bless him and them!

My wife Vivian and I met Chaplain Goodwin at RAF Greenham Common during 89-92. Fond memories of that time led me to search...and find this news now. Military life at Greenham was wonderful but at times very stressful, and the family of chaplains, especially Chaplain Goodwin was always kind and supportive regardless of faith...like family. You could feel immediately that he loved the Lord. I'm sure I still have some of the materials from his teaching us the Bethel Bible study series. ...

I am very sorry I didn’t see this news earlier. Chaplain Goodwin led my Wife and I to the Lord Jesus & baptized us when we were stationed at RAF Greenham Common, UK. We are forever grateful for his guidance. He is a wonderful immortal spirit that we believe we will see again with our Lord. Thank you for sharing him with so many veterans & their families in need. God bless you always!

I am very sorry I didn’t see this news earlier. Chaplain Goodwin was the shepherd who led my Wife (Maria) and I to the Lord Jesus & baptized us when we were stationed at RAF Greenham Common, UK. We are forever grateful for his guidance. He is a wonderful immortal spirit our that we believe we will see again worshiping with our Lord. We’ll tell him then how much we appreciate him. But until then, thank you for sharing him with so many veterans & their families in need. God bless you always!

Condolences to the family. I did not know Mr. Goodwin, but I do know his daughter Shelli and she is a blessing. From her I know he must have been a great man. Please accept my prayers to the whole family and his friends.

Good man, good memories. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

RAF Greenham Common

Delores and I have very fond memories of C.B. and Judy from our years together at RAF Greenham Common. C.B. was one of the kindest men I ever met, and a gracious and supportive boss.

Lots of memories of those times... but one that was particularly special was visiting the home of John Wesley. They even let Judy play the organ on which the Wesley's composed some of their glorious hymns.

C.B.'s legacy of love for Christ and others will live on.

Rob & Delores Stroud

Sending love and prayers to Judy and the family. Clarence was such a gentle, sweet man - a very special friend.
