Not sure what to say?

Mike and Family,
I was very sad to hear of your loss. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with your dad. What a great man and I must say I learned alot from him. He was one of a kind!!

My sympathies go out to the Grounds family. I worked many years with "Grounds" and always loved his jokes and dedication to getting a job well done. I loved him as a fellow worker as well as a man. He will be greatly missed just as he was when he left the College of William and Mary. I could use one of his jokes right about now. They never seemed to have an end in coming.

What a sweet and caring man he was and I will miss him greatly.

On behalf of the family, THANK YOU to everyone on this site and for all the phone calls and cards. It has meant a lot to all of us.

Please contact me if you have any questions concerning Monday or Tuesday. The dress code for Monday is "Wayne" - casual and relaxed.

Mike,

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I know Mike has some fond memories of him growing up. We will keep you, and your family in our prayers. Love you, Sandi and Mike Halvorson

Dear Mike and Family, Please know we are sorry for your loss and hope your memories will give you some comfort. You all are in our prayers.

Mike and family - It has been a long long time (30 yrs?) but I remember the old man well. One day he came upon me working in the rain on my broken down truck in a W&M parking lot. His overloaded locksmith's van contained every tool on the planet, and you could hear it coming a mile away. Well, that day he parked next to me, loaned me a tarp and a floor jack, and stayed there until the job was done(well after dark). My thoughts are with all of you, your Dad was a good man, and will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. I remember him as a kind, fun-loving man and a great dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sharon (Hoskins) Harris

Mike,Donna, & JoAnne-Received the call yesterday. No matter the distance we all come together in a time of need. I am glad it was peaceful & I know you will cherish every memory you have. My thoughts & prayers as always with your
mom & children.

I am truly sorry for your loss.May the time you have to reflect on his life give you joy, and know what a great man he was. Thank you for letting
me to come in, even if for a brief moment to take care of him on his final journey, and know he is at peace.
