Clarence D. Johnson

Clarence was born on June 28, 1944 and passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019. Clarence was a resident of Newport News, Virginia at the time of passing. He was born on June 28 th , 1944, to the late Clarence Douglas Johnson, Sr. and the late, Lucille Hargraves Johnson of Newport News, VA. Johnson attended Huntington High School and was known for his love and success in track and field in high school, as well as at Norfolk State. J) He spent his career in the Navy, retiring after serving our country for almost thirty years on U.S.S Tarawa as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 rd Class. We realize and appreciate all that would like to mourn and pay their respects, however by the request of our loved one, there will not be funeral, gathering or memorial service.
