Dear Lalonde Family,

Cal was such a good "buddy" for our Dad, especially in his later years when much of the time their connection was by phone. Dad so appreciated his cousin Cal. I hope they are having a great "Irish" reunion in Heaven. Your Dad will be missed by many.

With our sympathy for your loss,
Colleen Torrens

Cal will be missed by all. He was a great man that always had a smile on his face.

Mr Cal was always a stand up guy, quick with a smile and advice if you asked. He will be missed in this world but living in the light now!

USS Gardiners Bay (AVP-39)

"I saw a ship a sailing on the mourn,
and Cal was at the rail."

May Cal and Helen now enjoy life together again! What wonderful people! God bless you, his family.

What a wonderful human being! I met him at my grandmother's funeral in 1986, though I'd seen him for years at St. John's. In 2011, I was out at the cemetery with my then-11 year old son. We were visiting from Detroit and ran into Cal. I told him who I was looking for and he said, "Oh, they're right over here." He was right on. Talked about his service in WWII. This man lived life well!

Tim, Denise and family our sincere sympathy to everyone. He had many talents always a joy to visit with a great ww2 veteran. He had so much integrity, He will deeply missed Bruce Barker
