Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. Many people will never be so lucky to have such a wonderful Dr. as Dr. Shields. I was a patient of his for several years and I was so upset when he retired! I truly believe that I would not have my daughter if it weren't for the caring and knowledge of Dr. Shields. I know you all will have wonderful memories of him, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all in this time of mourning.

I am a former patient of Dr. Shields. I loved how much he cared for his patients. It meant a lot to me. I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you have many happy memories. May they help you all through this very difficult time.

A physician that truly cared about his patients. One that listened and had a heart of gold. A wonderful man that will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Uncle Clarence and Aunt Wilda used to invite Seth and I over to swim at their house when we were little. Had great times with both of them. We miss them lots. Sincerely, Shelbi Woods Unruh

You were the best father-in-law a person could ever have and the greatest Papaw to Amy and Robyn. They love you so much, and I know how much you loved them. I am so glad that Troy got to know you for a time, as well. You touched and healed many lives. We will miss you and mourn your loss forever. Love, Karan
