So sorry to learn of Bud's death. We served on many national committees together as Lincoln Mercury dealers. We also were brother members of the Time Magazine Award which speaks so highly of what Bud stood for and how he contributed to so many worthwhile causes during his professional life. On behalf of all Lincoln dealers we want his great family to know how much we will miss him.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Mr. Smail was a great example of what a man should be.

To the Smail Family so sorry for your Loss. My husband Ron Tietze worked for your family for over 25 years and he passed away this March. Ron spoke very HIGHLY of Bud and how great of a guy he was and how he always took time to stop and talk to his employees just a great guy to work for.

TO the smail family, bud was a veary nice and friendly guy I worked at the dealer ship for 14 years I loved his jokes, rest in peace bud.

My condolences go out to such a wonderful family of many many Smail's . I never had the pleasure to meet Mr. Bud but spoke to the sons . I can only say that I feel like part of the family too . You have shown my son what it is like to be a hard working person and he loves his job . I have thought of you all many times this week , Mrs. Smail , Jim , Jeff, Jeffery JR.
