Not sure what to say?

Clarence Snyder was my cousin, my piano teacher, my partner in crime. He never did teach me music theory, but he did a fine job of teaching me music appreciation, harp, trumpet, organ, and how to get in trouble in the piano studio. Twice a week we had a blast. He took the score from the theme to the Pink Panther and transcribed it into something a four-year-old could play, using pink pencil on staff paper. He had much better things to do, but this, he did for me. Gods greatest gift to me...

Clarence meant so much to me. We would get into trouble at my piano lessons rather than actually doing my piano lessons. He instilled in me a love for all music, especially sacred music. My Dad, his cousin, had called Clarence to ask him for a reference as to a good piano teacher for my adorable four year old self and was completely stunned when Clarence stated, "What is wrong with me?" Oh, the joys we shared. I will never forget him.

Our parents, George & Nancy, thought of Clarence as family, as did we all. Loving farewell to a wonderful musician, husband, father, and friend.

with love

May his music, dry humor, and love of family and life remain in your hearts forever.
