Not sure what to say?

I grew up with Bro. Stanley being my pastor. I always thought he was such a gentle and kind man. He was always on the side of right and would not waiver. He always loved his family and wanted only the best for them. May his family focus on all the good times and fun memories of him.

Bro Stanley was a wonderful and kind Christian man. He was always smiling and had a good word for everyone. He married my husband and I and he was my pastor for many many years and even though I seldom saw him in recent years he always had the same sweet spirit. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. God Bless you Bro Stanley.

Brother Stanley was a true Christian man. He was a great influence on our family - especially when our children were growing up in the faith. I feel honored to have known him and to have had the privilege of hearing and learning from his sermons. He was a sweet and kind person and I know the angels are rejoicing to have him in their midst. I thank God for men like C. L. Stanley who set a good example of how Christians should live.

Bro Stanley always included me in his fishing trips. He did not have to do that, his heart was just that big! One time on a fishing trip, it was still dark outside, and he and my brother Paul and I launched his boat and went to a stand of trees (you could hardly see). Bro Stanley told me to tie up to the trees and we could fish here. We soon noticed we were adrift and no where near the trees. He did not tell me (a teenager) to tie the boat to the rope as well as the trees. We all had a great...

We all dearly loved Bro. Stanley. He was always there for our family when we needed him. The last time we saw him was in January in the nursing home and he wasn't quite sure who we were. But he did know that he knew us from church. That was sad. But I know that now he is healed and living the promise and even though he will be missed by so many, I am glad he is in a better place and not suffering anymore. My heart goes out to the family and I pray for comfort for all of you.

To the family of Bro. C.L. Stanley. I consider it to be an honor and privilege to have been able to serve as Minister of Music and Education at Northside from 1984 to 1992 with Bro. Stanley. May God bless each of you and the legacy and testimony of your father's ministry and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. "Well done thy good and faithful servant."
