Clare was one of the kindest,caring and appreciative patients I had the distinct privilege and honor to care for. His favorite expression to me was, "Doc, we are brothers from another mother". The tributes to him at today's memorial spoke volumes to the many accomplishment and legacies he created and lives behind. I too will miss him and all the golf balls he gifted me which went to friends, family and patients alike.

Claire was a wonderful man and neighbor. He always found the time to find beauty in everything, even the rain. He would walk the neighborhood everyday, rain or shine, with a smile on his face and a glint of happiness in his eyes. He will be truly missed by all.
