Welko, Clarence W. "Bud" Formerly of Evanston, IL, resident of Milwaukee, WI. Born to Eternal Life on January 21, 2011, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Herminghaus) from '46 to '80 and the late Sally (nee Sherman) from '85 to '07. Loving father of Pam (Bill) and Barb (Dave). Proud grandpa of Kristin (Ryan), Kevin, Erica (Ben), Lindsey and Trevor, and great grandpa of Dylan and Leah. Preceded in death by his brother, Bob, and sister, Ruth. Also survived by other relatives and friends. From Bud's early days, he was a man of responsibility and integrity. He spent most of his life working to take care of his family. It started at age 15 when he quit school to support his mother and siblings. As an adult, he met and married his first wife, Betty, and together they raised a family. Following her death, he married his second wife, Sally, whom he also took care of until her death. Bud always maintained an optimistic attitude and sense of humor, whatever life brought his way. His family was the focus of his life, but he also enjoyed a round of golf, a cold Budweiser, and a good Bears game. Those whose lives he touched will certainly miss his charm and endearing personality. Visitation Friday, January 28, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI 53005 from 12:00 noon until the time of the Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Alzheimer's Association, ALS Association of America or the NMSS Society. A special thank you to the many people who cared for Bud and especially Maggie, Pat and to Rachael (Glenview, IL).
