To the family of Clarice. I was one of your mother's 8th grade Home Ec students at Chief Joseph in 1969. That was a long time ago, but she was a good teacher and took a special interest in me as a very shy student who loved homemaking. I didn't have much self-confidence, but she helped a lot. I will always be grateful to her and have sometimes wondered what she did after we moved out to Benton City. My own mother just passed away on Monday the 21st, so I am also having a deep loss.
