Not sure what to say?

Clark Ewing was the finest role model for young men I have ever known. I was a camper in the early 1960s, and Explorer Village Waterfront Director 1965.

On behalf of the family of the late Gale Weaner we would like to extend our sympathy to the family of Mr. Ewing. Although we never met Clark we heard from Uncle Gale stories that went back to their childhood friendship at Camp Storer thru their adult lives as cherished friends. Clark was always regarded as one of the most respected and thought after individuals that our uncle was lucky enough to know in his lifetime and we wish all the best to his surviving family as they deal with his...

My condolences to the family. I was a camper in the early '70's and while there Clark's presence was often noted. I always remember him pointing to the "I'm Third" sign in the mess hall...this has always stuck in my mind over all the subsequent years and how I try to live my life also. Thank you for your fatherly and Christian influence.

Clark Ewing, 60's,70's,80's Director of YMCA Storer Camps, was a true visionary with exceptional leadership skills. His unending enthusiasm for life was contagious. Clark's commitment to Storer Camps remained vital to the very end. His dauntless energy turned Storer Camps into a premiere YMCA Camp... recognized worldwide. His creative energy, combined with pace-setting ideas, inspired others to invest talent, time and resources. This resulted in growth for camper programs as well as...

Camp Storer has meant a great deal to our family., and Clark was the embodiment of the place. We are so grateful for the experiences we had there. We will always remember those times! We send our sincere condolences to the family.

A little of both John and I died with him, he was close to our hearts..

My heart goes out to the Ewing Family. I hold you all in love. Thank you for all you have given me.

If ever there was a man who exemplified the motto of "I'm Third" it was Clark Ewing. Our condolences to the entire Ewing family.

Dear Ewing Family: My heart hurts as I write this. Storer was an integral part of our family for decades. My parents (Paul and Barbara Baehren)met there and all of their children (Chris, Steve, Connie, Peter, and David) were campers. I was a counselor for several years. When I had children, we drove all the way from Philadelphia to take them to Storer so that they could have the same wonderful experiences I had. My siblings sent their kids there as well and I expect that the tradition will...
