Not sure what to say?

Sincere condolences to Gillies family, friends & teammates. Jethro will be missed but never forgotten as a true gentleman & ambassador to the game of hockey- definitely the most respected player both on and off the ice. So glad I got to meet him on several occasions & let him know that as a diehard Isles fan, I attended the ‘80 playoff game in Boston where he fought O’reilly 3 times.
Forever in our hearts RIP Capt. Jethro #9

Rest In Peace Big Guy

What a shock !! We send our thoughts a prayers to Pam and kids . Doug and Susan and family . Clark will be missed by many . He truly was respected on the ice and even more off the ice . A real loss to everyone .

Condolences to the Gillies family. May the God of all comfort be a strength and refuge for you at this time of grief.

My condolences to the Gillies family. Im so sorry for your loss. When I would go see the team practice at Racquet and Rink in Farmingdale, Clark always took the time to stop and sign autographs and take pictures. He always took the time for the fans, whether throwing broken sticks or pucks over the glass for us. Those Dynasty years will always be the best memories as an islander fan.
You will be missed.
