I remember Salty and his Happy Wanderer performances from his Y-Not rehearsals at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA. The preschool children I teach would sometimes visit the singers, and Salty always was jovial and kind. Condolences go to the family and those who knew him.

I'm so saddened to hear of my friend and former neighbor "Salty" passing away. We would often talk while at the Neenah YMCA and share stories of the past, telling a quick joke, and keep up on all the latest sports stories. I remember very fondly the patience and warmth that he displayed while being the designated driver when taking us teenagers (Jean, David, Sonja, Sharon, and myself) to and from Shattuck High School.
