Not sure what to say?

I played baseball for Mr. Bailey in the late 50's and was an an across the street neighbor of the Bailey family. For the many years my mother remained as their neighbor, Claude and Delores provided an unending string of kindnesses to her. Mr. Bailey was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Bailey hired me as a busdriver for the district in 1969. He was my boss for the next thirteen years. He taught me loyalty to the job, responsible work habits, and always to do the right thing. My husband and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to Dolores, Claudia, Debbie and Rick. We will miss him greatly.

Our deepest sympathies to the Bailey family. Claude was my teacher and baseball coach and was indeed a fine human being. I feel honored that he touched my life. Bruce King

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Bailey’s passing. He was a good neighbor and friend to my family and me. At times like this it’s hard to know what to say except how sorry I am for your loss. He will be missed.

I was saddened to hear of Mr. Baileys death. He was my football coach in 1955 and was a great example of what a coach and teacher should be. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on.

I knew Claude as a fellow teacher, bus driver under his direction, and a summer worker with Claude as the boss. His contributions to District 211 are many. Whenever you see a yellow school bus with Dist 211 on its side, remember that Claude started the transportation system that transports so many students each and every day. My condolences to the family.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Mr. Bailey's family. I graduated from PTHS in 1958 and when a group of us get together we always talk about how much we appreciated Mr. Bailey. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Mr. Bailey was my Driver's Ed instructor. He was a kind, decent and gentle man.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. Deepest condolences to the family.
