Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital in London, with his family at his side, on May 31, 2020, Claude Spencer Buffett in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Elizabeth (nee: Hickey) Buffett (2014). Dear father of Gwen Hughes (Michael), the late Bill Buffett (2010), John Buffett, Theresa Gibson (Dave) and Terry Buffett. Loving grandfather of Zoe, Matthew, John, Ed, Robyn, Danny, Wayne, Paul, Mark, Chelsie and great-grandfather of 10. The family would like to thank the ACE unit and the palliative care team at Victoria Hospital for their compassionate care of our father. Internment at a later date in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Toronto. I do and will miss Claude very much. We had many dinners and fun times together, filled with interesting conversation where he would regale me with a most fascinating array of stories. On a light note, never have I met a man with such an affection for Sir Winston, Stephen Leacock and The Sisters of the Precious Blood. My heartfelt sympathy to Gwen, John, Theresa and Terry -- and all the extended family.
