Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Bunky. He was a good man and will be missed. Our prayers go out to the whole family and may they find peace and comfort through these hard times.

Sharleen, Amber and Stephen, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Bunky and your whole family made me feel like I really belonged in Poquoson, not like an outsider. Bunky came to my rescue many times when Jared was deployed. You are family and I feel your loss but know he is pain free and up in heaven enjoying the peace. I hope you too find peace and comfort during this time. With love and friendship

This was truly a shock to hear. Bunky gave so much to so many people. I have many great memories of my time at the Poquoson Fire Department with Bunky. My prayers are with the entire Carr family.

Thoughts and prayers to the Carr family. For 6 years I learned many lessons in Fire/EMS from Bunky. He was a great man/mentor. He will truely be missed by many

Bunkie, thanks for giving me the chance to become an EMT. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Wow what a true loss to our profession. I love working with him at Mar Mac for 2 years.... Thoughts and prayers are with your family and your dept family.

I am very sorry to see that Bunky passed to the Heavenly Fire House...I remember him foundly trying to teach this old dinosaur new rescue tricks in 1999. I remember most about his unique way of explaining diabetes. I use his cartoons to explain to my grandmother about her medicine and food intake.

Sharleen, Amber and Stephen,
May God bless you all during this time. Bunky is a great man who has influenced so many people. I remember the days that he would coach me and guide me as a young EMT and Fireman, I take away a lot of lessons from my days at the Poquoson Fire Department and Bunky was a big part of them. I can recall some very funny times I spent with him and the crew at the Fire Station and some times I was able to visit and get to know you all as well. These will be...

Sharleen, Amber, and Stephen Words can not express my sympathy for you and the pain you must be feeling. Bunky along with all of you have been among the BEST friends a person could have ever asked for. I will sorely miss him as I know you will too. I take solace in the fact that he is in Heaven looking down on us has he has careed for us all for so many years. I will always treasure our visit last summer and the BBQ our families shared together on that trip. Please know you are all in my...
