I worked in the office of Cantrick School in Monroe from 1957-1961 and saw Claude every day. He was alot of fun, called me "Leroy" all the time. He was a good man that worked hard, took his job seriously, loved the students and they loved him. I am so sorry for your loss, I remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

We had the pleasure of meeting Claude while delivering the Monroe News. He was a very pleasant person and very proud of his military experience. He was also very dedicated to helping young people. He was a great man with many great stories to tell. He will truly missed by all peoples lives he touched. Rest in Peace our good friend!!

I had the privilege of meeting Claude while he worked for Ace Hardware. He was such a sweet man and very wise. He always greeted you with a smile and was a very positive person. He really cared about people and that was nice of him to read to the children at school. I am sure they loved him just as much as he loved them. Rest In Peace Claude, I am glad I had the pleasure of meeting you.
