Not sure what to say?

I was fortunate enough to have known Claude for over 27 years and Blessed to have had him as a Father in law. He was a great man who was always about taking care of business. He was warm, kind, funny and loving and always would tell you what was right. My kids Efrem Grimes Jr., Elèsha Grimes and Eyãna Grimes are Blessed to have had a grandfather like him. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to stop by with my daughter and visit him for a few hours one day and so happy we were able to...

I was fortunate to work with Claude for a bit when I was a new investigator with the SMCBA. He was truly a man with qualities and character that exceeded even the most dignified. I once heard a co-worker say, “Well ... if there is ever a brother to emulate in every element of being, character, skill and being sharply dressed, it would be Claude!”
It has been a while since I had the opportunity to speak to him, and I truly hope that the book he was writing is being read by his family and...

I worked with Claude for many years with the San Mateo County Private Defender Program. He was soft spoken, polite, and always good humored, a true Southern Gentleman. He was also one of the finest investigators I ever met, tough and aggressive but tempered with compassion and humanity. There wasn't an attorney on the Panel who didn't like Claude, and want him to work on their cases. Claude was a true credit to his profession, an outstanding investigator who's integrity and character...

Claude was a good friend and wonderful man. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to his wife and children

Claude and I worked several difficult cases together over the years when I was practicing law and Claude was a private investigator. He was excellent at his work and never shirked from tough issues. Most memorable, he was an absolute gentleman and always with a good word and a smile for all.
I am sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Claude at Potrero station. I was a new kid back then and was always treated well by Claude. He was a gentle-man and a good police officer. I’ll alway remember-him saying, “How ya doin’ ole’ buddy”.

Claude grimes and I worked at potrero station, we worked the same sector. My unit call sign was Charlie one, and his was Charlie eleven. We
Were Potrero hill’s best. I’ll miss Claude. I would like to thank donette
For taking care of Claude.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Claude out of the Potrero Station. He was such a pleasure to work with. Everyone like him. He had a great deep laugh and a big smile that was his alone.

Claude loved his family and loved coming home to Alabama to visit his relatives. He will be greatly missed.
