Dear Sue:
We miss you and gene very much. I am glad you are giving us a chance to remember and say a word about our good friend. I especially think about and cherish many late night talks when you lived on Shalimar. Gene was the first person I knew of to change his voter registration from Democrat to Republican. As always, Gene was way ahead of the times, which was the topic of some of the late night talks. Miss you friend.

Sue and Skip and family: We will miss Gene Hardin, in my estimation was one of the best educators to come from the state of Louisiana. We love you and know you will miss a great man.

Gene will miss your visits here in West Monroe, visiting, eating and fellowship ping and hearing you as you tell all those stories and are grateful for the info you kept up with all these years. We love u dearly. See you somneday cousin.
