He was a very nice man. Grandfather to my children. They shared a special bond with their grandfather and they will all greatly miss him. We are so sorry to hear of Claude's passing. When our son, Adam, joined BSA Troop 483, Claude was no longer involved with the troop, but he would still let the boys go up to his property in the Columbia Gorge where there were many memorable camp outs. He was a generous man and his BSA legacy continues in Troop 483.
