I didn´t know what a superstar Claude was. We were just ham buddies.

I didn't really know Claude too well. We did have a strong connection through our mutual love of amateur radio. I was just looking him up to say hello when I discovered his passing. To all of Claude´s family I send my deepest condolence. Claude was a dear friend of my parents, Anne and Pancho Freyer. And I´ve had many enjoyable conversations w him over these many years, one of which was about his memories of flying w my parents and at one point, letting Mom pilot the plane for a bit.
