Not sure what to say?

Will always be remembered as a great man, a wonderful uncle and the best judge the county of orange ever had.

Hi, I know this is late, and I didn't know him, really. I started researching the Owens again this month and thought I would look him up and see if he had anything new, Sorry for your loss.

Ten years ago when I first got addicted to genealogy I came across his book. It contained my Vincent Owens so I was interested and contacted him to see if he had more info. He was very nice and even sent me pages on Vincent from his second book. I was new to it and reading his book, I really liked...

The Hon. Claude Owens was a lifelong family friend. We knew him and wife Betty while living in South Laguna after WW11. His dad, "Pop" Owens, had a house overlooking Coast Highway, near 9th St. beach where we spent many happy days.

Dear Bob and Leslie,
Your Parents were so special to me through these last 50 years. Both will be missed. Sunday school class, many committees and picnics at the beach.
Rest in Peace Judge.
Pat

I like so many knew the Judge from walking at Strand beach with his faithful caregiver. It was truely a great experience to meet and get to know this wondrful man. We will miss you Claude.

Dear Leslie/Bob,

I just want you to know I am thinking about you and bob. Your father was one of the most respected, kindest, and honest people I have ever known, and you both are in our prayers. There is not a court house or police department that I have walked into where if they heard his name did not say something wonderful about him, He was a great Christian and no doubt has taken his place among the great judges of all time in Heaven.

If there is anything I or my staff can...

A life well lived, you should all be so proud.
I was a motorcycle traffic officer for the City of Anaheim in the mid sixties. I had given a young lady a ticket who plead not guilty and we appeared before Judge Owens at Harbor Ct. She appeared with her mother and I was single then. The Judge ordered her and myself to go to lunch and discuss the ticket and come back afterwards. The Judge told her mother to remain there!
A little matchmaking on the side.
He was also a good and fair...
