Claude H. Price

I started going to Mayo´s in 1962. Claude was the most popular barber there and he always cut my hair. He was a very intelligent and could discuss many technical subjects. He became my family´s friend and cut my father´s hair when he was sick and in the hospital. I took my family to see the bridge after it was completed. Claude did many charitable things for friends and strangers. I never knew a better man.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Price´s passing. He cut my hair and my Father´s hair for many years at Mayo´s Barber Shop. I wish to extend my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family. Continued prayers for healing and support for his family. Mike Dodson

Greetings! Greetings! That is how he let other barbers know when HIS customers walked in the door. Claude cut my hair for over 20 years, and treated every customer as a friend. He was a great man and will be sorely missed.

Claude cut my hair for many years there at Mr. Mayo's, along with Carl Lenz. I always enjoyed our conversations. He was always upbeat and in a good mood.
