Read MoreI met Claudette in 1975 when we were both nurses working on 4 West at the Brooklyn VA Hospital. It was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. I have so many happy memories of the times we spent together - the VA Bowling League, weddings, parties, her wonderful holiday gatherings. I have very fond memories of Claudette. She was always so kind to me and our family. I never saw her without a smile. Surely God is holding her in the palm of His hand. Plus, He now has another nurse!
