FUNK, CLAUDIA JUDITH (JUDY) SMITH 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7. Judy was, above all, a "people person," and gave generously of her time, concern, and support, whether on behalf of family or friends. Affectionately known as "Ran" to her grandchildren, she was a devoted wife,...

My condolences goes out to you all. Judy wasn't just another client coming into HeadStart, she was my buddy and I will never forget her. She always had something interesting to share with me when she would show up at the shop and had something for me to remember when she left there. She was the most straight forward person I've ever known and believed in moving forward in life.
Love you all,
Meisha

I will be thinking of you all. I am so sorry to hear this, just shocked. Judy was the person I looked to for advice on taking care of my two oldest kids when they were babies. That was 45 years ago, and her kids were small. Alison, Lori and "brother " John, at least thats what we called him then. It's been a few years since I talked to Judy, but still thought of her often as well as the rest of you all.
Love to you all....Sandy Giles Nelson, Center Line , MI.

David, Alison, Lori, John, Margo, and Jay:
I am so sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you. Judy was the first grandchild in our family and paved the way. Her smiles, laughter, southern hospitality, and respect for GOD's beauty has given us wonderful memories.

Allison, Lori and John,
I am so saddened to learn of your loss. Your Mother was a very special person. It has been many years (30 maybe) since I last saw and spoke with her, yet time hasn't diminished the fond memories I have of her. She was always smiling, full of energy and loving living her life - which at the time involved raising three teenagers - which she seemed to take in stride with a serious, yet warm approach and wonderful sense of humor. I know you will miss her. My...

Judy was one of my favorite people. Bridge will never be the same.
I enjoyed her company on many levels and especially when we were
in a laughing situation( a big portion ,of which, we made ourselves!)
Some people leave a "hole" in life with their absence and that's the way I feel now. Don and I wish all of you better times ahead and the
joy that will come from remembering the very special woman that
was Judy Funk.
