Claudia Frances McElhannon

Claudia Frances McElhannon Medical Center. Born in Clinton, April 12, 1963, she was a daughter of Billie Frances Pollard McElhannon and the late Claude Augustus McElhannon. She formerly served as a SC Highway Patrol Dispatcher and was retired from Westinghouse. Miss McElhannon was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother are a sister, Cindy Esco and husband Barry; nephews, Brandon Esco and wife Lisa and Taylor Esco and wife Brantlee; and a great-nephew, Liam Esco, all of Greenwood; and a canine daughter, Foxy Lady. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. at Rice Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Hodges and Rev. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brandon Esco, Taylor Esco, John McElhannon, Kevin Henderson and Bill Willard. The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church Friday at 3 p.m. The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorials to Rice Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, 1975 Highway 72 West, Greenwood, SC 29646.
