Not sure what to say?

Claudia and I were good friends since high school and a summer science program at Colorado College. Our paths continued to cross over the years, last time in New Mexico. She sent me a March birthday wish every year, which reminded me to reciprocate. I was reading a new little book about relativity a few days ago and thought I need to send this to Claudia, which is how I discovered sadly she had passed. You will be fondly remembered old friend, I´ll miss you.

If you shopped at Chinook, you knew Claudia. If you worked at Chinook, you loved Claudia. She was a one-of-a-kind gem of a person. We were all so lucky to know her and have her in our lives.

My deepest condolences go out to Claudia's family & other friends. I was one of the lucky Chinookers who got to work with Claudia and we kept in touch through cards & emails all these years. We liked to talk about Italy & vent about common complaints. Yes was smart, funny and a good friend! I hope she's already working her way through the big library I hope heaven had waiting for her!

Claudia was our favorite staff member at Chinook. Many of our best books were her recommendations. I also remember waiting on her at Jose Muldoons when she came in for lunch. She was smart and hilarious and will be greatly missed.

I am so saddened to hear of Claudia´s passing. I was a publishing rep and used to sell to Claudia @ Chinook Book shop. She was a special lady.
