Grandma Thomas to me was a bright, fun-loving, helpful, thoughtful, and courageous woman. Grandma was one of my heroes. I remember riding horses with her and picking peas in the garden. Also going to the rodeoes and seeing a different way of life through her eyes. Grandma always believed in me and treated me as one of her own. I'll never forget that.
