Not sure what to say?

I grew up just out the street from Clax and remember him so fondly. My parent's (Bill and Peggy Rudder), both now gone, thought the world of him. I wish you comfort during this time of loss.

Mari, Mitzi, Wayne and the houseman family

Sorry to hear about Mr. Houseman. God finally called that special angel home. He was a precious soul. I could tell how much he loved each and everyone of you. He was 103 years of blessing to everyone. He left some wonderful memories. Keep them close to your heart. May God comfort and keep each of you in his loving arms.

Growing up in FCC Bluefield everyone knew who Clax was because he made sure to know who you were. It was always a pleasure to serve such a caring man. May God Bless those who have cared for him these past years.

Jim, Jeannie, and Bob Croye will miss Clax. He and Ann were our parents best friends (LeRoy and Pansy Holt Croye), and became dear to us as we grew up. He was be missed.

I meet Claxton when my Dad was in the assisted living;he was a fine and kind man.
