Paul Funeral Home of Washington Obituary

   Mr. Robert Clayton “Clay” Buck, age 55, a resident of Alligood Lane, Washington, died Saturday, July 23, 2022, at his home.


   Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington, conducted by Jeff Necessary.


    Mr. Buck was born in Washington, N.C. on April 3, 1967. He is son of the Bobby Lee Buck and Mary Ann Lee Buck. Mr. Buck was a lawn mower mechanic with Premier Equipment Company. He was an avid hunter and loved to feed his dogs.


     Mr. Buck is survived by a son, Robert Clayton Anderson of  LaGrange; his parents, Bobby and Mary Ann Buck of Washington; two sisters, Angela Buck Owens of Washington, Sarah Buck Mathews and husband, Kevin of Chesapeake, VA; five nephews, Jordan Ambrose, Camden Ambrose, Taylor Owens, Kyle Mathews, Chris Mathews and niece, Kacey Mathews.


     Mr. Buck was preceded in death by his fiancée, Gloria Tetterton and his canine baby, Sugar.


     The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of his  sister, Angela Owens, 1212 Slatestone Road, Washington.
