Not sure what to say?

Dear Betsy and Family,

I only just learned of Clay's passing today when a Facebook memory reminded me that I reconnected with him 10 years ago. It was a stop in Memphis on a Houston-to-New-York road trip, and my daughter and I had an opportunity to meet you three girls over dinner. The memory also celebrated 10 years from when he hired me at the Madisonville Meteor, which kicked off my career in journalism. I'm so saddened that we hadn't been able to reunite since then, and I'm...

I love and miss him so much!

he was the best dad in the whole world he always made "funny jokes" and everyone loved him.

So sorry for your loss , clay was a good man .

We express our deep sorrow upon learning about the demise of Clay. Jackie and I were truly saddened by this news. Clay was not only a wonderful friend but also a remarkable individual who will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, child, and extended family during this difficult time.

The work of one good man touches the lives of many. Soremade has been called. God’s blessings my friend.

You will be missed.

Sending our love and condolences

Betsy and Family,
My thoughts are with you all during this time of great loss. I pray for God's peace and comfort to be with you in these days and in the days to come.
