It's with a heavy heart that we read this obituary. We met Clayton a few times at the Soldiers Home but got to know him at Dick's picnics. He touched many lives with his friendly smile. He was an Awesome Person ! He will be fondly remembered in our thoughts and hearts. It was a privilege to have known him,
Our deepest condolences to Madeline.

Oh Maddi - so very sorry to read about the loss of your dad. You were always the light in both your dad and your mom's lives from the moment you arrived on this earth full of every bit of spunk they both passed to you. Your smile and zest for even the simplest things in this world speak volumes about the things they taught you. I've so loved seeing pictures of you visiting him, seeing your light reflected in his eyes and vice-versa. I am holding you in my heart and prayers.
