Clayton, I had the privilege of meeting your parents today at the Weatherford College Gold Star Family Memorial Ceremony, where I teach courses in criminal justice. Your sister is in one of my classes and we talk about the military quite a bit. I am both humbled and honored to be acquainted with your family, and I can assure you that you will not be forgotten. Rest easy...

He was a great man... Funny and loved his family so much. Loved his country... I served with him in 2008. He will be missed. Rest in peace Beauchamp. I just found out. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry that I called you "Beau- champ" the first five times I talked with you... and you didn't correct me. I'm sorry that you had to spend years cleaning beds and taking vitals before you got to do what you were really meant to do. I'm sorry that I didn't thank you enough for showing me the ropes in the ER, when I really had no idea what a rainbow blood draw was. And I am so sorry that you had to be the one... the one we are proud of, the one we are afraid of, and...
