Clayton B. Schaeffer

Mr. and Mrs. Schaeffer were the kindest souls in our neighborhood. Every Halloween the couple invited all the neighborhood kids into their home so that Mrs. Schaeffer, who was hard of sight, could give each child a quarter and get a good look at each child in their costume.
