Not sure what to say?

It is 2025 and I´m sitting here in Santa Barbara thinking of pleasant memories of my mother and father. For a strange reason my thoughts turned to CD Sowell Jr who rented property from my parents. My folks had great respect for CD and admired how hard he worked to become a successful businessman. He had a few rough periods in his life but with God´s strength he always found a way. After all these years, I´m sorry about his passing at a young age. My best to his family.

Dear Kathryn and Stephen,

I was so sadden to hear your loss. I also lost my dad Sept. 19, 2008. It is hard and God is with you. I am going through the same season. Our prayers, thoughts and love go out to you all. CD's smile was always pleasant like an Angel. Know that he is with our heavenly Father and God knows your sorrow and he will comfort you and strengthen you at this time through his word. Please contact me. God Bless You!

CD and I were married for many years, remained close friends and close to our children which he loved very much. I was able to see first hand God's work in His life and witnessed his great desire to serve and honor the Lord in his life. We loved him very much and can't help feeling like a large part of life is missing without him. But, we know that He is in the precious presence of the Lord and can finally rest! His children all looked to him as a hero and I have also shared the same...

My father was more than just a dad he was my friend. I miss him so much. He will always remain in my heart.

KATHRYN & STEPHEN,

We have all suffered a great loss on this earth but CD has finally come face to face with his first love. I remember the day in 1968 that I met him and will always remember the day I said goodbye. May the Lord bless you and keep you and may we all long for that day when we will all be together again.
Love you.

Dear Kathryn,
I'll never forget the time you and CD were in MN for Grandma Agnes's funeral; I had a formal dance for highschool that same weekend (I feel old!), CD took me aside and put a $100 bill in my suit pocket and said "treat that girl right tonight!", what a great guy. I think of him and you often, love you guys and hopefully see you soon, ben

Dear Kathryn,
I never had the opportunity of meeting you and your family and I can only offer you my sincere love and prayers. I worked with C.D. in the early 1980's. He was very instrumental in helping me with my career in fire protection as well as an incredible support to me and my family. C.D. played a key role in our walk with the Lord for which we will forever be grateful. We have always had a deep respect and love for him as a friend and brother in Christ.
With Love,

Dear Kathryn, Stephen & Family:

Dad, Mom and I were can't say enough how much we miss CD. My Dad loved to visit with him at the coffee shop and they were such good buddies. They always encouraged each other. We will certainly miss him. We pray that you will be blessed coming in and going out and that the Lord will be with you at all times.

We love you all,

Nancy, Joe, Mom & Dad Nichols

Kathryn,
Haven't seen you & CD in several years. I just wanted to let you know that You and your family are in our Heart & Prayers, You as a couple were an inspiration to me during that time you were taking care of my daughter Kandace. You & CD were there for me during a hard time in my life and I will always remember that. I loved that she was your practice baby as you and CD used to kid around. You were eventually blessed with a beautiful son. Please take care, and know that you both...
