Not sure what to say?

A search on a beloved and influential teacher landed me here 10 years after Mr Williams' passing. Both, my husband, Jerry, and I have shared "Mr William quotes" and 'isms with one another throughout the years. We both were somewhat slackers in his class - having potential, but lacking discipline. Mr Williams saw (something) in me and, as he did with many of his students, sowed much of his own time and effort into my life. Though I probably did a pretty poor job of showing gratitude then, I...

Chris, Krista, and family: The funeral for Clayton was so beautiful. And what a perfect day. I enjoyed the holidays that he spent with the Kennedy family. He always had a joke to share and an interesting story to tell. What a great man!

Your Father is and always will be one of the great positive forces in my life. It was a pleasure to have been one of his students at Hawthorne High. I was also very fortunate to have his as my fencing instructor as well. I remember Terry bringing you kids to our fencing classes in the late afternoons. It felt more like a gathering of family than a class. I will always keep those memories safe in my heart.

Krista and Chris,
Your dad was a class act: A husband, father, grandfather, patriot, teacher, mentor, artist and friend. I am honored to have called him my friend. He guided me through 37 years of teaching art. I loved him and I will miss him. I am so very sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family.

Chris and family and Krista:
Sorry for your loss. Uncle Clayton always had a good energy that surrounded him. Although our branch of the family tree hasn't kept in close contact with others in the Williams family ,I do have good memories of Gramps, Nana, Glen, Eleanor, Lillian, Clayton, and my Dad in Kemmerer and the Theatre, and Dinners at Glen and Barbaras. THere must be quite the dialogue going on between them all now. Take Good Care.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Chris and Krista, and your families.
