Clement Audu

I got to know Clement a long time ago when we were both freshman at Calvin College. One Sunday he and some friends joined my family for worship at First Cutlerville CRC and a home cooked meal with my parents. He had to return to Nigeria shortly after that and I lost touch with him...but even in that brief time I could see his tremendous faith in God and his kind and gentle spirit.

Clement and Lola welcomed my wife and I into their home and lives when we were first saved. They were a huge part in helping us grow as new Christians. Clement was such an inspiration. His humble, gentle, and kind spirit and strong faith, was such a witness and brought much to my life personally. Such love. Truly a faithful brother in the Lord and I am forever grateful for him being in my life and his sacrifice to spend time with me. I miss that he is not with us here but I look forward to...

I had the privilege of getting to know Clement over the years through the construction trades. He was always a gentleman and I respected him very much. I will miss him.
