Not sure what to say?

Lori and extended family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of Butch's passing. I went to Portland Elementary with Butch and always remember he was a very sweet and kind guy. We also graduated from Bangor with the class of 1968. I have been reading wonderful things about Butch--he sounds like he was a great and caring person.

Although I didn't know butch as the fire chief, we did go to grade school together in Portland, rode some motorcycle together and worked bingo where his father called numbers. I;m deeply saddened to hear butch is gone. My deepest sympathy to the family

We met Butch twice when he delivered furniture to our house. He was a great guy and a fellow firefighter. Our
prayers are with you and your family.

To all those who have shared this time with the Kochanski Family, we thank you.

Though we still can't believe this has happened, I can't help but believe that Butch would be suprised at all the people who showed up to honor him and support us.
Time stops for no one.
Not even a man as good as Butch.
Days will pass and I have to believe the grief will lessen.
But all of our memories will remain.

Thank you and God Bless all of you,
Joanne, Butchie,...

Joanne and family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. I have had the pleasure in serving under Butch for the past six years as a line officer in the department and I have learned alot from him. He was always there for me wheather I just needed to talk or if I needed advice. He was the man in the department that I always looked up to and admired. I will definetly miss the times we shared together and the daily phone calls we had with each other.

Dear Joanne, Lori & Butchie:

Now that I've had a chance to collect myself and sit and ponder my thoughts & emotions, I felt compelled to once again extend my sincere condolences and support for my friend, Fire Chief and fellow public servant in his guest book.

Though words alone can not express my true feelings, I can tell each of you that many of the friends and residents that Butch touched through his stint as our Fire Chief and and 36 years in the department are also...

Please accept my sympathy in your time of great loss of Butch. I have known him since we were kids growing up in Portland and he was such a great guy.I know he is right up above and watching over all of us for all eternity.God Bless. Bruce,PH&L

Joanne and family please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of your loss. If there is ever anything that we can do to help you please do not hesitate to call upon us. God's blessing to all
