To the Lyon Family:

On behalf of a grateful nation, and the Department of NH, VFW/Auxiliary District #7, we wish to acknowledge your loved one's service to our country, and send our deepest condolences on your loss.

District #7 Chaplain,
Cathy Burns

Clem was a good friend and a valuable member of the Congregational Church of Laconia, UCC while living in Gilford. The small Christmas tree that I bough from him just after building our new Gilford house in 1985 now towers over anything near it! Ruth, I am sure that you treasure your many years with Clem and Jean and I offer our prayers for your comfort and out of thanks for a life well lived.

Enjoyed many wonderful childhood times with the Lyon family on Loudon Road. Clem's garden, ice rink, front yard Christmas tree sales and trips to the dump are among my greatest memories. If we three Lewis kids weren't in our backyard, we were at Ruth and Clem's. Will be praying for you all.... Barry & Marie Lewis

So sorry to hear, but what a wonderful life! Please know that all of the Martin (Bud) and Martha (Martie) Colburn offspring are thinking of you at this time. Clem was best man at their wedding in 1946 (if I recall correctly) and they were so happy to be reunited with Clem and Ruthie in Gilford after the early days in New Boston.
