Clement Rudolph “Clem” Weiser, 82, a resident since 1946 of Great Bend, Kansas, a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, and a Partner of Weiser Brothers Grocery Store, Great Bend, died in Great Bend on Saturday, August 12, 2000. Friends may call on Monday, August 14, 2000, 2-9 p.m., with a recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m., and Tuesday, August 15, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Fryberger Mortuary, 2115 Washington Street, Great Bend. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 15, at 7 p.m. until time of vigil service at 8 p.m. Further visitation is scheduled on Wednesday, August 16, 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, officiated by Father Angel Dy. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, with full Military Honors from the U.S. Army, Fort Riley, Kansas.
