Cleo “Toby” Chancey, 64, of Hitchcock, Texas, a U.S. Army veteran, and owner of Chancey Dump Truck Service, died at Columbia-Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, Texas, on Friday, September 29, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2000, 6 p.m., and Sunday, October 1, 8 a.m., at James Crowder Funeral Home, 401 Texas Avenue, La Marque, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 2, at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Geneva Maris. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Hitchcock.
