My fondest memory of Cleo is in 1963, when we were sitting in the Biology Laboratory at Camden School for Girls, discussing our new boyfriends. Cleo had just met Mick, who was a student at the London School of Economics, but left shortly after to become the famous lead singer for the Rolling Stones. My boyfriend, Derek (not so famous!) was later to become my husband and Cleo's Optometrist. After leaving school, we stayed in touch and saw Cleo's acting career take off in 'Wise Child' with...

My family and I are so privileged to have known Cleo. Always a pleasure to speak to when we bumped in to her around the neighbourhood. We would stop and chat for hours. She announced my engagement mid set when doing a gig at the Rosemary branch. Such a wonderful person. Cleo will be dearly missed.
