Linda, My heart goes out to you. You are a good daughter and did your best to make your Mom's final days as good as they could be. Please know that she was appreciative of everything you did even if she could not show it at the time. You are very strong and she was proud of you. Remember, she is now looking after you.

We had not seen Cleo in years and years. She used to visit us out in the country, in Toms Brook. I met Cleo when we worked together in Vienna in the seventies. When I moved to Seattle, she became close buddies with my mom. She was a wonderful person who brightened every room she walked into. She will be missed by all of us who love her.

As time goes by...it doesn't get easier. This is so hard for me, as Im sure it is for each person who has expressed their love for her. I hope for it to get easier everyday. I miss our conversations and our time together. Truly one of the most amazing and special people I've ever met. Cleo's love was such a beautiful gift... I am honored to be her granddaughter and for our close and very special relationship. All the comfort I attempted to give Cleo will never compare to EVERYTHING she gave...
