Cletus ?Errol? Matthews, a retired construction and instrument fitter, departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Friday, May 9, 2014.
Husband of Yvonne Matthews. Father of Andy, Wayne (Andrea), Ernest, Marcia, Alana, Robert, and Gizelle Matthews. Son of the late Japhus and Erane Matthews. Brother of Charles, Cecil, and Ernest Matthews, Monica Penn, and Jean Bernard and the late Ford Matthews and Mable Valley. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Age: 80 years a native of Trinidad and Tobago and a resident of New Orleans, La.
Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10:00a.m.
Pastor Victor Simon officiating
Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, La.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the entire Matthew family, if you need us please call anytime. We will truly miss (Mr. Trinidad) he never met a stranger he was a very friendly man. Thank God for 80 blessed years.
