I worked at Scherer Brothers Lumber for two summers in the early 60s. A bunch of hard working, hard driving, hard chewing and hard drinking gang if there ever was one. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone for
the kindnesses given at the passing of
the 'old gizzard wizard'. He is missed.
God bless everyone and God bless America.

Our cousin Rose (Schmit-Fowler) just told me about Cletus. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Harriette, and your family. Your new family history friend, Dominic.

Our deepest sympathy to you Dave and all of your family. May our thoughts and prayers help you in this difficult time.

Cletus was a friend of my father and both served in the 337th Infantry Regiment, 85th Division. They trained together In Company C in Camp Shelby. After 60 years of separation, my Dad still recalled with great fondness Cletus. It was an honor to correspond with Cletus and Harriette and share their history of wartime service. Let us all honor his service to our country. Don Jones, son of Roy E. Jones
