Cleve and I became friends after a chance meeting at Steppenwolf - we were both avid theater goers. When I learned he lived in Glen Ellyn, I asked if his dad had by any chance been Marv and his mom Dorothy - bingo! Our dads had been close friends as boys and my dad's favorite New Year's Eve was spent in the Carney Bakery. Cleve and I laughed about this a lot over the years.
